Mrs Bailey gave birth to a beautiful baby girl just three days after Christmas in Branson, Missouri. Not only was she a beautiful baby, she shocked the whole hospital leaving everyone confused and surprised.
Alyssa Bailey stunned nurses and doctors simply because she was born with two perfectly-formed bottom teeth on her arrival. Obviously this is not a common thing to occur as its only been recorded that around one in every 2,000 to 3,000 babies are born with bottom teeth.
It is not dangerous to the baby at the time; however doctors seem more than keen to remove the teeth simply because they have very little root structure. This means that the teeth are more than likely to fall out as they will teeth at around 6 months therefore the teeth will grow back anyway. You can almost guarantee that a baby being born with bottom teeth was not discussed at Alyssas Baby Shower.
Doctors were said to be keeping a very close eye on Alyssas teeth in case they started to become lose. Its a shame that the teeth will eventually & possibly come out because they would have saved half the pain from teething in a few months to come. However doctors do stress that it would be safer to remove the teeth as if they were to come wobbly when eating, drinking, lying down or sleeping – then they could become a choking hazard.
